The Wunderlich family who built it, lived in the original house with 5 children for 10 years before building the larger home next door. Being just a mile from Main Street you can enjoy the luxury of shopping all day and then going back in time in the evening. The Rustic décor with the present amenities of central heat and air and Jacuzzi tub lets you experience the past and present. Allen’s Log Cabin is featured in two books on Historic Homes in Fredericksburg; they are located in the cabin for your enjoyment. The garden in front of the cabin features all native plants to attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
